Today marks the queen stage of La Vuelta a España, a punishing mountain showdown taking the riders from Robledo de Chavela into the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama, ascending multiple historic climbs before culminating in a brutal, high‑altitude summit finish atop the Bola del Mundo with ramps of 20% in the final kilometers. In the same spirit, we’ll meet at Lost Abbey and watch the stage, which will inspire us to then head out for a hilly ride and a return to Lost Abbey for some post ride refreshments. The ride will roll after the stage ends, which is estimated at 8:17 am.
Door at Lost Abbey will open at 6:30am, so get there early and watch the stage with us!
