The plan is to try our newest and our second flattest LSD route. We’ll go north on the coast and take the San Luis Rey bike path east. From there, we wind our way to scenic Camino del Rey, Champagne, and Jesmond Dene. Then it’s back to Rouleur Brewing, where cold pints will be waiting! However, Sunday could be a very warm day, in which case we’ll opt for a more coastal ride to San Clemente. Please bring your base pass with you and be ready to switch routes when we meet at the start. 57 miles/ 2,700′ https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35826507 LSD stands for Long Steady Distance. The goal is a steady state ride at B and C levels. That means staying in zone 2 on the flats and zone 3 on the little pitches … a conversation-paced ride. No surging or attacking.
