The route should complement Saturday’s ride, so don’t feel like you have to choose one or the other. Do both!
The goal is a steady state distance ride at B & C levels. That means staying in zone 2 on the flats & zone 3 on the climbs … a conversation-paced ride. (Surging & attacking are highly frowned upon.)
