Swami’s presents… OUR 6TH ANNUAL SWAMDO CENTURY!
The Swami’s Gran Fondo is a fall fixture in North County, and it is back! We offer three challenging and scenic routes with fully supported rest stops at regular intervals.
Our Full Century route has the unforgettable, leg-busting loop through De Luz. You’ll have the choice of prolonging your punishment with another run up Olive Hill and a loop around Sleeping Indian for 100+ miles, or call it good once you hit the Bonsall rest stop and head back for a solid total around 94 miles. Both the Medio and the Full Century routes feature beautiful Rice Canyon and Couser Canyon. The Piccolo route takes your through Sleeping Indian.
All rides depart from Rouleur Brewing in Carlsbad. Perhaps more important than the ride itself is the party that follows. Join us from 12:30 – 3:30 PM for a catered party along with beer and other less popular beverages. The party is included in the registration and definitely a highlight of the event. Participants will receive a commemorative pint glass.
Our rest stops are sponsored by JoJe Bars, Specialty Produce, and Skratch. Mechanical support by the Wrench House. Nothing but the best!
Your ride length choice need not be made now – prices are the same for each event ($25 members / $50 non-members). The routes overlap, and so depending on how you are feeling at the primary Bonsall rest stop, you can decide to head back early to make the most of the party, or continue your ride into the afternoon hours.
