Wednesday Hoppy Hour Ride

Event Details

April 14, 2021 5:30 pm

PLEASE READ THIS ABOUT ALL OUR RIDES:  Health guidelines are in place for group activities and are ever-changing. Cyclists who join our rides should be aware of these guidelines and be prepared to follow them:

  • We wear face coverings before and after rides or when less than 6 feet apart, even if we are vaccinated
  • We ride in pods of 12 or less based on anticipated average speed, each pod departing a few minutes apart, with the fastest pod leaving first
  • Each cyclist is responsible for following health and cycling safety guidelines, and for following road rules and traffic laws

At this time, there are no designated ride leaders. If at any time you don’t feel safe while riding, please feel empowered to leave the pod.

Make the most out of the long days of spring and summer and join us for the Wednesday Hoppy Hour Ride! Plan for a 5:30 PM roll out for the most fun you’ll have all week. This ride is SHORT but CHALLENGING. We manage to swing around some of the lesser traveled roads to give you the most pleasant ride we can at rush hour. And at the end, Swami’s treats members wearing their Swami’s kits to a beer!

Rouleur Brewing, Carlsbad

19 miles, 1800′
Please learn the route or load it to your GPS device. This ride has no formal leader.

We typically have riders who would fit into an A, B, C, or D group. We all leave together as one group. With all the hills, the group typically breaks up into multiple groups by the time we get going on Lupine, but there’s always someone to ride with.

Come around 7:00 PM to hang out with your fellow Swami’s/FOS/Cycling Enthusiasts. If you can’t make it in time for the ride, come for the community!
